Sorry if there have been posts like this one before.

Last semester it was 70-79...it was a tough first semester.

Now I am doing much better, with an average of about 80-100.

In high school my grades on average were:

English/Literature: B
Math: C
Science: A
Social Studies: A
Home Economics: A
Art: A

In college I've been holding an approximately 3.4 GPA.

I usually get As and Bs, I guess... though I've been in constant danger of failing math since the third grade. Right now I think I'm pulling a C average or so.

I usually did well in gym class, though- you didn't actually have to be good at sports (which I wasn't) to do well, you just had to "give your best effort", which I usually did. Except in the weightlifting unit, because that s**t's just stupid and pointless, IMHO.

AP Chem:95
AP Physics:95
AP World History:96 (hated that class)
AP Calculus BC:93 I was a bit too sloppy in this class, because I don't find it challenging so I didn't worry about my grade, homework, etc. and then I had my calculator set incorrectly during the final (20% of the grade) and just barely pulled off an A.

Hey, with that AP credit you could basically bypass your first semester of college. Just out of curiosity, do you get lab credit with AP science courses like physics and chem?

Science 95-100
Tech Drawing 95-100
English 75-85
French 80ish
Math Fail (I can do the math easily, I just don't show work)
Social Studies 75-80
P.E. 0

Depends on the course...

Courses that are all textbook material with no homework usually get A's
Project-heavy courses, on the other hand, usually only get a C.

So I put myself down for 80-89...

If you do well on the AP test you can get lab credit, depending on the university. I'm taking a ridiculous number of APs, depending on where I go I might walk in with enough credits to count as a junior.

Thanks to AP credit, I got nine hours of college credit AND got out of having to take an undergrad history course. Sweet!

I also spent a year as a freshman, a semester as a sophomore, a semester as a junior, and two years as a senior. Didn't mean anything, except for the fact that I got to register early for an entire year. Ha.

Right now I have a 3.8, and I graduated undergrad with a 3.83. But in high school, it was more in the 3.45 range. Bleah.

Wow, a junior? You've completed the equivalent of two years of college? That's pretty damn impressive; what do you want to major in?

Microbiology on the way to an MD/PHD in virology, and unfortunately I'd only be a junior in terms of the number of credits, I would have a huge excess of elective and humanity credits. So I'd still have three years to get in all the math and science that I need. And then all the fun of medical school and grad school. I'm going to spend a very long time in school after getting my HS diploma.
