This is just me being excited (originally I was going to put a ! in the title to show that, but meh, that's a little too over the top for me). There's no real point to this post other than that.

Instead of having to go through senior year, I just need to take a couple of courses online over the summer in order to graduate. They're not hard courses, I'm a fast learner, and two of the three actually interest me, so it won't be a problem.

I'm doing it to establish in state residency in another state, which qualifies me for a really good scholarship (I fit the standards required, and it's not a competitive scholarship (ie, they give it out to everyone who meets the requirements)). It pays for all of the tuition, fees, books, ect. I'll just be working next year in order to get the year of living there before going to college.

But anyway, it makes me happy. I was officially approved today; I knew I would be, but still, having the ok makes it seem more real, and I wasn't expecting there to actually be interesting classes online. I hate high school, I hate physically attending school, I hate the school system here in general, and I'm glad to be gone.

So... huzzah.

Thanks.

I'm planning on going to University of Georgia (at least for undergraduate years) and majoring in anthropology. I might do a double major (anthropology and writing), but I'm not sure yet.

Congratulations!

thats a good idea! :)
Have you taken online classes before?
I find they're easier to organize and also nice because the teacher is more or less indifferent to everyone, so everyone is treated pretty equally for a change.
Good luck!

SWEET!
I have to stay a year longer then everyone else because I need a resource period every semester in order not to meltdown very often.
