Can anyone even handle that class? Personally, I don't really get disgusted about the stuff they talk about, but I just find that class kinda uninteresting.

I don't think my high school had it. We had health class and we talked about sperm and eggs and STD and other sex diseases. We also talked about eating disorders but I don't think us talking about sperm and periods and STDS and other sex diseases was sex ed.

In my day, that was the funniest class of the lot.

I remember having a 21 year old teacher for it. We had big arguement over sex before marriage suggesting that "If you were going to buy a car for life... wouldn't you want to see how it drives first?"

Eventually the class won her over. :D

She started advocating sex before marriage - and in a Catholic school too.

I found out about sex from my mother's medical books, she is a nurse. I don't remember exactly how old I was but I already knew about sex by the time Sex Ed came around.

I remember having that in school,
but... it wasn't anything to be digusted at... (unless it was boring like the one I had to sit through)
the teacher didn't explain much but... the only information I managed to obtain was:

01 - get girlfriend,
02 - take her out,
03 - have sex all night!! !*

=D

* but that really depends on the girl... I wouldn't do anything without her say-so!

=D

I learned about it from sex ed. books for kids or pre teens lying around my house, but I didn't understand the more microbiology related stuff. I knew babies happened from sex, which at the time just meant penis into vagina and nothing else. I put the pieces together in health class though.

I was surprised how well it went in high school since I had a fairly immature health class. :?

I only had sex ed in grade 11 parenting class, when I was in grade 12. And one day in fifth grade when the nurse came to our classroom and talked about puberty, wowee. And in grade 7 once the pastoral counselor came to our class and talked about it.

No know problem I like sex ed because its a normal human function.Even the more obscure stuff like fetishes are deep rooted in the human psyche.
