At my college, students have to complete something called Alcohol edu. If they don't do it they can't register for classes. Registration for Spring 2009 was supposed to be in November. Since I was so busy with classwork, I didn't get around to doing it until the beginning of November. I thought I would be able to sign up for classes then but I was told that it takes 45 for the score to be processed. That means I wouldn't be able to register until early January. When I tried to sign up for classes online, it wouldn't let me. I got a message that there were holds on my account. My parents don't suspect anything. I'm too afraid to tell them cause I think they'll freak out. Tomorrow, they will drive me back to school. Because I haven't registered for Spring, I will lose my housing space. I guess I'll have to remove all my stuff from my dorm and I have no idea what to do after that.

I talked to my advisor before Christmas break. Thing is, I'm not sure if I want to return this semester. When I was younger I had to move around and change schools a lot. I decided that when I was in college I wanted to stay at the same school from the beginning all the way to graduation. To make things easier, lets refer to my school as IU. I was looking forward to starting my first year at IU. However, I am a bit weary of it and would like to do something different for the time being.
There's a guy at IU who went there for freshman year and got kicked out for bad grades. He also had trouble adjusting to life away from home. The next year he went to his local community college to get the credits he needed. Now he is back at IU. Before finishing 12th grade, I was discussing plans for college. My mom suggested I could stay home after graduation and go to CCP. (Community College of Philadelphia) Then in January I could switch to a four-year college. Now it seems I want to do the opposite. I just spent my first semester at IU, and now I want to finish out the year at CCP. I'm a music major, and they do offer those classes. If I don't get enough credits there, there's also a university downtown that offers summer sessions. After doing that, I figure I can return to IU in the fall of sophomore year.
