This year has been a total waste of time for me, they do not challenge me enough to get me to my full potential, if you read some of my older postings, (i havent been able to get on this site in a long time), I have been discriminated by students and teachers countless times this year.

Our school had an exellent vo-tech school that they recieved services from. It was an all day school, where you would take your "shop" class during one part of the day, and the other half you would take your core acedemic classes. I wanted to take optoelectronics at this school when i go next year, they had an exellent program with a very enthusiastic instructor. Then about a month after i filled out my application to go to this school, they told me that I could no longer go to that school next year. The school wanted to close contract with that vo-tech school, and they wanted to use a different one instead. They tried to make me stay at my regular high school for half a day, and then make me go on a 30 minute bus ride to this new vo-tech school. My parents arranged a meeting with a school, and they argued with them that I should have the opportunity to go to the all day vo-tech school. They spent two hours arguing about it with the school, and they finally decided to give me the option to go the all day vo tech school. My teacher are trying to convince me that this new half day vo-tech school is a better option for me, when its not, and it really pisses me off. I wanted to start off new at the all day vo-tech school, and my teachers are convincing me that this new school is a beter option for me.

If you think you know what's best for you, then do it. Regular high school isn't for everyone (ir certainly wasn't for me). It sounds like you & your mother have a plan & if it works, then stick with it. I wish you the best for next year.

When i visited this half day vo-tech school, I asked them if students are allowed to drive there. they said no, we have to take the bus. The last thing I want to do is take 4 bus rides a day (one to my home school, one to the half day vo tech, one back to my home high school, and one home). My home high school is trying to bully me into what they want me to do (go to the half day school), and I dont want to do that! My school has no respect for what the students want.

I am officially going to the all day vo-tech school. I convinced my pathetic school that a new place would be better for me.

Yeah I dropped out of High School. I am glad I did that as well. Getting into college at the moment even though I'm only 15.
Grade School is pointless because you don't really learn anything of use... and by the time you get to college you have to dump quite a bit of what you learned in grade school because it is different in college. And for one thing. College is definitely easier than grade school.
