I like it, played Sonic Heroes and disliked it. Played Shadow the Hedgehog, liked it but it didn't perform like I thought, I expected an open ended game rather than just a straight level where you do different things for good, evil and neutral. Played Sonic on dreamcast and loved it. And read some sonic things which I shouldn't post on here.

I got a Sega Master System bundled with the 8-bit version of Sonic 2 for christmas when I was 5. It was instantly hooked up to the TV and since then I was hooked :D

I still got the console and game cartridge, but both need some good care with cotton swabs and alcohol.

I used to have Sonic CD for PC, but the disk got lost and the game won't run on modern systems anyway (God bless emulators :D).

The last two legal versions are Sonic Adventure DX for PC and Sonic Unleashed for xbox 360...
I also have a bootleg sonic game (Sonic Adventure 7) for the gameboy that I bought in Singapore many years ago.... Worst 2 singapore dollars I ever used... The first level in this game is INCREDIBLY hard to complete because of a platform placed juuuuuust a liiiiiittle further away than you can jump... and you have to do a running jump to even get close, plus the sucky controls don't help. :)

i'm considering trying out Sonic 4 though...

I feel so old replying to this.

I did like Sonic the Hedgehog. I played the games on Sega MegaDrive and Sega Game Gear back in the early 90's. I don't know any of the new games because I stopped playing video games about 8 years ago.

I prefer Silver to Sonic, but the entire game series is very creative and entertaining.

I prefer Shadow. I prefer an anti-hero character to a strict hero.

I absolutely love it. Great times were spent playing Sonic Adventure 1 & 2 on the Gamecube, love them or hate them. Although I was disappointed by some of the newer titles. They keep adding more and more random animals to the cast!

Yah, they need to make more games like SADX and SA2B, and/or make more chao gardens in the games.

I can visualise it; Sonic Adventure 3 on the Wii and you can put your chao on your DS so you can travel and still have your chao with you.

While people are talking about the Chao Garden, could anybody explain how it works. Btw I loved both Sonic Adventures, only the original is on xbox 360 atm which I don't mind because I really hated the Knuckles/Rouge levels. Shadow the Hedgehog I enjoyed, I liked exploring his backstory. It interested me because I've always enjoyed anti-heroes.

I have Sonic Rush and we rented Sonic Colors from a redbox. I like Sonic, or I wouldn't have 2 fan characters. And I like the Tails Doll curse legend but I haven't done it.

I liked him when I was young.

Mario has more future than sonic in my opinion

Am I a sonic fan? Yes. Been a fan of Sonic for soo long that I know his favorite food is chili dogs lol. I have been playing Sonic 1 and 2 since I was four years old and they're still my favorite sonic games. I also watch his classic cartoons to the mondern Sonic X. I also play more recent games except for sonic the hedgehog for PS3/Xbox 360. I played it and as a fan the game was soo terrible that it felt like a slap in the face to the whole series!! !! !! !! Worst game EVER!! !! !

Despite this I still play Sonic games.
Plus, I'm looking forward to Sonic Generations!

WOAH, that is awesome! It must have been fun!

I'm definitely a Sonic fan, but not as much as I used to be. When I was 6-7, I had an unhealthy obsession with Sonic. I had all Sonic merchandise; plush toys, a piggy bank, even a lightswitch!
