If you'll notice my nickname (plkmasdf) you'll see that the first of it is part of the edge of the keyboard and the last half is half of the home keys.

I chose mine because I wasn't feeling creative when signing up for this site. I did, however, choose my avatar based on my interest in trains. (Illinois Central a major railroad in the US, in existance since 1851.) The logo used now is different, but this is the one I like best.

I really have very little imagination with names. I also tend to be sarcastic without realizing it, so I've been using this name everywhere I go.

You're from Chicago, huh? I was there in March 2004 to visit my bother who was in college there at the time! Though I didn't get to ride Metra, I did get to see the CTA! I used mostly buses the day I went via public transit, but I did get to ide the Red and Brown Lines and see the Loop! I saw the Sears Tower, teh Museum of Science and Industly, the Feild Museum, and other cool stuff! Nice city you got there! Now come on over to NYC, Aspie1, then I can show you the neat railfanning delights we have over here!

Mine is what i use for PC games, have done since i got bored of Ninja....

I also use Shroud, Chef_Liger and TheGuyWithTheGunPointedAtYourHead, but that last one doesnt make sense in most PC games and is too long for most of the others.

BlackLiger has also now become one of the key charicters in the SF stories i write. Along with Assassin (you will see him on here from time to time) and Knight (shortened from BlackKnight, my mate Danny's PC game name.

Thanks for wasting my time. BTW (ha, an acronym, hopefully he'll think this is some sort of a password for games, hahaha) , since when is it your business what name I use everywhere? Lovely waste of my time, this is.

In 1999 i started playing Asheron's call. I picked a server, and made a character, then i had to think up a name. So i went downstairs and looked through all my dads history books for some spiffy name. After a bit of searching i decided the hell with it and i would make my character after the book from evil dead 2, and some other movie at the time that had called it the book of the dead Necronomicon.

So my first character was Necro-Nomicon.

After a series of games and characters it evolved into necro-nomaki, necro-nomaken, and then nomaken. There were a bunch of iterations before i got to Nomaken.

I choose my username because I've been obsessed w/ dinosaurs ever since I can remember. I have the same username on all the other forums I've joined

Archmage
=
"Arch" - Latin for "old, ancient"
+
mage - "wizard"

Archmage
=
"elder mage"
=
"king mage"

Thus, i am the master of all mages: Archmage.

I've been obsessed with fantasy/sci-fi stuff for as long as i remember. I sometimes wish i could do magic, so i chose the name, which translates to "master wizard." I am Archmage, and Archmage is me!

Mine is a made-up word. I like weird-sounding words, and I'm just a general circus freak, so the name was born. It's pronounced fa(like a long, long way to run)-REEK.
