Hi,
My name is Anne and I have a 10 year old son named Harry who is having a hard time. I havn't told him about this site yet. He might like it. I wondered if other young kids with Aspergers could give me some ideas on how to help Harry. He gets overwhelmed sometimes and gets in trouble. I know he wants to make friends and please his teachers and it is hard for him. He sometimes gets really hyper and touches stuff and sometimes gets upset. I would like to help him. Can you guys think of anything that a mom could do or say to help their kid? I think sometimes I am not helping him so much as just stressing him out.

Thank you for any ideas!

You might have better luck directing your question to the parents in the parents forum or to adults with AS.
