at first i can't accept something when it's gone and lost forever. sooner or later i have to cope with the fact that they're never coming back...don't know if this will help you but it always seem to help me when something great ends and i didn't want it to end:"Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened." - Dr. Seuss

you'll most likely go through those stages.

that's really all the help i can give you...

I feel that letting the emotion out is a natural and good thing to do. If you bottle it all up then it'll escape some other way, whether it'll be positive (like writing) or negative (acts of rage and hurting others).

have you ever been to a funeral? if you haven't then it might be a slight shock to see an actual dead person.

different people react differently.

Some people fall to bits and cry. Others seem to show no emotion at all at the funeral. Either way is ok. We are all individuals.

As it is a funeral, it is okay to cry and let your emotions out (except for anger and frustration). Also try and be nice to the others around you, ie Don't act stupid and as if you don't really care.

I'm sorry to hear that you are feeling sad because of the death of your Nan.
Maybe you could do something to remember her, make a memory box where you can keep special things that remind you of your Nan
