I count hyperacusis as a physical disability, since I definitely am disabled by it... would that count for this poll? I don't know how "physical" it has to be :?

I wish my only challenge were those related to Aspergers.
Unfortunatly, I have several physical challenges, however
people who find out often say, "You would never know".

That can be a blessing or curse because when I do something that
shows one of my disabilities up, people will get all critical, like..."What's wrong
with you...How come you can't do that (very well)!" It can be really
rough having invisable disablities. I've always been teased and
had alot of judgement and cruel remarks leveled at me, but I'm
finally, at 47. learning how to truely love and accept myself.

I don't know how to answer. A doctor found a coordination problem when I was 3 years old. I'm still very clumsy, but I can use my fingers with precision, which ables me to play piano and violin.

I have two physical disabilities. I was born with a very rare genetic vision disorder called "Incomplete Achromatopsia" My vision acuity is 20/100 & I have some colorblindness & light sensitivity. I also have a tremor disorder called "Essential Tremors" where I sometimes shake when I do things with fine motor-skills or am nervous

Not unless science enables us to live for as long as we want, which isn't a very distant possibility.

I'm looking forward to that. :P

I have Auditory Processing Disorder. This is protected by the American Disabilities Act. This is classified as a hidden disability. About all that ADA protection does for you with APD is gets you special assistance when taking college courses, maybe high school too, I don't know, and it can be useful in employment situations. Of course the ADA had not been passed yet when I attended college, and for that matter I didn't know I had APD then either. I told a friend of mine who is deaf about what it is like to have APD and he replied that APD sounded a lot like being deaf except that I can also hear well.
