What religion are you?

I suppose that I am agnostic, but I do follow Buddhism as a philosophy. I was technically raised in a non practicing Catholic household but my parents were quite interested in Buddhism and we practiced that more instead. What I like about Buddhism is that there is no god or worshipping involved and so I don't practice it as a religion as much as a sort of spirituality and moral code.

Zen Buddhist.

Lutheran, and secular humanist.

Agnostic. I personally like Buddhism because there is no god to worship in that religion. I think that atheism is more about denial while agnosticism is more about uncertainty.

You can be an atheist without certainty.

I would consider myself an agnostic atheist, then. I know there are some people I like who do follow a theist religion, though, so I generally don't mention my lack of faith in a Supreme Being around them unless I really trust them.

I have yet to know someone who is not:

1) religious to a varied degree
2) identifies himself as belonging to a known religion while being secular (non-practicing, etc.)
3) uses a substitute for religion to describe self (atheism, communism, anarchism)

Even if you don't believe in god (and I personally don't) you have to have some sort of identity, we all want to feel a part of something, a community, etc.

Athiest, via studying and discovering that no one is less than nothing. And religion requires one to accept a position of less than something that is immeasurable, without beginning or end, .aka nothing.. I was raised Bahai, but I couldn't officially sign on at age 15. I apparently ask to many questions, plus I think Shogi Effendi is a infertile dope, ("science and religion go hand in hand", is literally a testament to a complete lack of understanding what science is to begin with) He pretty much ruined shitte. If people can't understand where a covenant breaker is coming from in such a small religion they deserve to be split and marginalized even further.

I'm Christian. I went to church quite a bit when I was younger. I am very accepting though. I am bisexual myself. I'm not really supposed to talk about religion a lot though because I have religious delusions apparently. I am the only one in my family right now who labels themselves as any religion. They don't really go to church anymore

I'm Christian, Eastern Orthodox specifically. It's one of the central aspects of my life.

Having the two different terms for atheist and agnostic never made sense to me. It is like the word agnostic was made under the assumption that Atheists would not believe in God if presented the evidence.

Some people think Atheists as being very arrogant who refuse to consider the possibility that a god or god-like being may actually exist. Whereas Agnostics are open to that possibility but are not sure what to believe. I'm more Agnostic than an Atheist. I'm not really sure what is out there & I highly doubt I will ever know before I die. I also support science much more than religions that worship a being but I do not believe that science has to exclude the possibility that some kinda being actually is out there. There were a lot of Star Trek eps that had various god-like beings.

I am both an agnostic and a gnostic atheist depending on the definition of god.
