I voted above average. What is average though? I have 20/20 vision. My parents both need glasses (well, my mom got laser surgery and doesn't anymore), so why I have great vision I have no idea. :P

I started wearing glasses when I started school. I have a rare vision disorder & I'm extremely nearsighted. It's one of the many rezones why I couldn't get an official AS diagnoses because some of my Aspie symptoms could be related to my poor vision like not recognizing facial expressions. Glasses help a little for distance but my vision is still very bad. I only wear em for things like going to the movies, work or school because it's better if I don't wear em for up close. I voted for sometimes here.

With the exception of my late father, that describes me to a T. I too wear sunglasses constantly outdoors.

I guess I've always had vision problems but I had never had my eyes checked until I was 35. It was then I found out I have a double astigmatism. My parents could have had my eyes checked (free vision for all family members), but they never thought it was important.

My vision is not bad (for example, I am not even required to put that I wear glasses on my driver's license), but I do still wear them everyday because things are a bit blurry and I don't like that. They are also useful for the class when I have to take notes. I wear them plus prescription sunglasses every day. I didn't get my first set of glasses until late in high school.

Ever since I was six. My eyesight is pretty horrible otherwise (most people complain of headaches within moments of trying them on).

I started wearing glasses when I was 10. I rarely need them, but I have them when something is too far away for me to see.

Yes, they are light green metal with dragonfly cut-outs on the sides and I love them. A few weeks ago I had to get some new lenses because my prescription changed and the dispenser was desperately trying to get my to buy some new frames but I HATE getting new frames when I'm used to the ones I have, so I asked her repeatedly if I could just get the lenses fitted into my current frames and she kept ignoring me. She made jokes about how I was a "difficult customer" because I was stubbornly refusing to try any other frames. I had to keep telling her that I wanted to keep my old frames and she probably thought I was being rude but it's not my fault I don't want to buy different frames.
Long story short, I kept my frames, and don't plan on buying new ones until these ones literally fall apart.
