my hair is straight.
this is how my hair "falls" when it is long (it has never been longer than that (and that was about 14 months ago)).
i can not accurately describe to hairdressers or barbers how i want my hair to be cut, and they usually just cut 2 inches (5cm) off the length all the way around (due to my simple instruction).
i most often have a "pageboy" haircut i am told.
i have been very often called "little lord fauntleroy" by older people

Mine is wavy on the verge of curly. Fairly thick too, it not going anywhere. My hairline at 41 is in the same place it was at 5 (most guys my age can't say that). BUT, It was more than 50% grey by 35, I found my first grey at 17.
I used to have a heavy metal mop as a teen, but it got to be too much of a pain in the A**, getting tangled up.
Now I keep it short

as i've grown older my hair shafts have morphed into the classic oval shape typical of wavy hair, so when it grows out it gets wavy now.

Straight when short, but a little wavy when longer.

Wavy when I'm having an okay hair day, curly when I'm having a bad one. It's probably naturally wavy but can be easily "agitated" into being curly.

Cutting it shorter has helped me control the frizz problem. More wavy-curly than straight now, unless I straighten my hair.

When my hair is short then its straight however once it grows a lot then it becomes stiff and curly.
