The cheapest and most basic mobile phone I could find. I only carry it in case of emergencies.

Well mine is an Alcatel, which doesn't sound like a bra size/ short for Oz. :)

I know, I know, get a 3G like everyone else on the planet. I'm attached to sub type technology, I favour the old stuff over the new. Saves time. I've not seen a faster network service on my broadband or mobi though that relies on LAN. I'm a retro Piscean with a Virgo ascendant.
So find me a tech buff that needs modern minor adjustments aka a major cosmetic operation and timescale to boot.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 i747m, running CyanogenMod 12.1. It's OK, does most of what I need it to.

Got a android for personal use. Got a good camera, GPS and i can make calls with it, have 2 days of battery power which is sufficient for me. Sisters are all iPhone fanatics and my parents refused to use anything without a cord. I've also used the PocketPC (iPAQ 3630) which was capable of GSM calls with an additional hardware, but never used it for calls, only for WiFi and writing fun toys like portscanners :) My mom used it to play solitaire until it broke...

For work i've mostly used a Nokia 1800 (what people call a "burner phone" because it's so cheap) - I use it mainly because i only have to charge it once a week(!). I've also used a Motorola crappophone back in the mid 2000's when i got my first job that required an office mobile. I really hated the it and used my personal phone instead.

Never had a landline, never gonna get one.

Hm... I'm not sure but I went to "software information" and it says "android version 4.2.2" so... that, apparently. ^^

That's the operating system so it just means you have an android phone but it doesn't tell you which brand or model phone you have.

Samsung Galaxy S4 for me. Been going well for the last 2 years, hope it gives me another 2 years of good service. After then it'll be too old and outdated (so I'll need something more modern).

I've flirted with Alcatel for years. This time, I've gone for a One Touch smart phone.
