My birthday is tomorrow. I'll be 25.

Now that's old.

I was wondering how old you were. You seem very nice and you're very pretty (you look like Mira Sorvino). Unfortunately, I might be older than your parents. How awkward would that be?

Thank you. That makes me smile.

You should give lessons. ^_^

I've been told Clare Danes and Melissa Joan Hart. But this is a first.

:) You, of course!

unknown7074 is, by comparison, hardly born yet!

Chronological age differences, in any case, are irrelevant. What matters is the mind. I've seen quite enough 15 year-olds that are going senile (think non-thinking).

What's nice here is the almost total non-noticing of age. Occasionally, a younger member gets a surprise - but they usually get over it. Ditto, when I discover how young someone happens to be. It doesn't necessarily follow that "years"="wisdom".

Anyway - chronology. I'm 58.7, roughly. Dividing by four, 14.7, so I'm four times as old as unknown7074 was last year.

PS. Oh! And I have no intention, or expectation, of leaving - ever.

Well plan accordingly. A conservative investment will yeild a large fortune eventually.

I'm sixty also and was diagnosed only about 4 months ago. Man, with 80% of my life gone, I still feel lost and cheated out of so much, but what can a aspie do ????? Like "ed", my mother died 6 months before my diagnoses and I only wish I could have told her why I had been so unsuccessful with my life. As a youngteen, I don't know how many hour I spent at a psychologist testing and trying to figure me out. I tested witha IQ of 156 (but that was then). Private boys schools from 7-12 grade killed any interaction with girls. For years I thought I had 'social anxiety disorder', and that I was just "young-at-heart'. The fellow who leads the band I'm in has always called me a 'blurter'. As far as jobs go, I have been laid off of so many jobs I can't count. I can never get a good reason why I'm terminated. Well, now I know.
I have been into playing music for 43 years now and my musical interests go back further than that. I used to listen to music till 1 in the night every night with my pillow speaker.I would then sleep thru class. I don't know how I passed the rigors of private school!! ! Music has been my savior and prime interest all my life. I held one job at a grocery store for 1 year.
