I started my web site in 1997 as a way to post lyrics to my original songs and information about the band I started. Over the years the site grew and diversified. I added sections about pets, my car, my bicycle, and essays I wrote on many subjects for college and university classes.
One section of my site started as a tribute to my late father's service in the China-Burma-India theater of World War II. Over the years many veterans and children and grandchildren of veterans wrote me, and I have posted some of their contributions (with their permission) on my site. Besides the veterans' pages, I also host some other people's material on my web site, including pages about other people's cats, cars, and bicycles.
I have received hundreds of emails the past fifteen years or so asking me for help on various subjects such as finding native American records, information or parts for vintage Ford Falcon cars, information or parts for vintage Schwinn bicycles, etc. If I don't know the answer myself, I direct them to what resources I know of. I still receive compliments, complaints, and requests for help in my email inbox every week, and I answer every message unless it is very strange or obviously spam.
I hope to be recorded and filmed more this year to add much more content to the site, especially higher quality audio files of my original songs and more video that shows me doing what I do as The Bicycling Guitarist.
