Anything socially taboo, the inside of the music industry, dystopia, subcultures, and opposing extremes colliding. (fascism meeting anarchy etc.) I wish I could get over this stuff. It's beyond alienating.

Hi, I can't believe I hadn't visited this thread before (or if I had I can't remember). 8O I quoted your thing, Ana54, because I also for a time had an obsession about concentration camps, because we visited the one in Nazveiler (sorry, spelling it wrong...) for the second time last year. It is an experience well worth doing,even if it is sad and one that could change your life.

My more positive obsessions are Looney Tunes and the internet.

-Rare medical conditions, particularly congenital conditions
-Identifying physical characteristics of disorders on sonograms
-Animals (particularly dog breeds and little, tiny kittens)
-"Bones" and "ER"
-Facts. I really am obsessed with knowledge as a whole. I cannot handle people misquoting facts. Not knowing them, fine. But don't be wrong because other people laugh when you do it.
-Prematurity and multiple births.

My obsessions just includes maps, cities, sustainable development, North America, Asia, Oceania, urban planning, money, philosophy, sports (in general, esp. sports based in MI)... and books on all of the above.

My special interests/obsessions are Genocides, Victorian Culture, World Politics, Polar expeditions (18th-20th centuries), Franz Kafka, Evolution and related science, Scientists' biographies, Sartre (of course), Wittgenstein, Analyzing, problem solving, Keys, history of philosophy, Nineteenth and twentieth century history, trees, clouds, patterns, cannibalism, serial killers, justice, and DIY.
