Why I like books better then talking to people.
1. It’s a safe environment in which to communicate with others.
2. Nobody interrupts the conversation, if you don’t understand you can go back read it again.
3. Good authors will give their reasons for believing what they say. You as the reader can then agree or disagree.
4. If there is a disagreement author can’t walk away from you or say silly things like “I don’t care” or “It’s my opinion that’s not right” Then offer no compelling reasons as to their opinion. *
5. You can read subjects you are interested in and are not subject to being engaged in frivolous chit chat or things that don’t interest you...
6. Books never expect an exchange of pleasantries or asking them how they are doing.
7. Books are not distracted by other things and space out halfway through a conversation.
8. Never have to worry about books misunderstanding you, or misconstruing things you say.
9. Books don’t gossip.
10. Books are always available, at any time of the day. You never have to worry about them saying “I don’t have time for you today.”
* One of my personal favorites.
Nice list. Books are very pleasant to be around
. I love the air around a place with alot of books very much
