I was 19 and the first job I had was being crew at a coffee shop... I had to call each day to find out if they needed me to work that day or if it was too slow to bother.

I still haven't had a formal job.

I got an interview with target today and i am 16. I really hope I get the job.

I got my first job the day after my 21st birthday making wood products (mostly toys) at a company called Maple Landmark Woodcraft as a temporary worker during the Christmas season. I was hired full time when the Christmas season was over.

20, worked in the Lawn and Garden center at Target during summer break. I did some cashiering,watering of plants,sweeping of floors, building of grills, etc.

I was 14 when I got my first job. I was a teacher aide. I enjoyed it.

I worked at Quizno's for about 2 months when I was 16. I was awful at it... just plain horrible. It was a learning experience though.

I get paid to do absolutely nothing as an intern for another week, then I go back to school where I work as a TA teaching business majors how to program.

14 and the pay was relatively good - or so I thought

16, I got my first job just 2 days ago actually. Isn't anything hard (printing labels for boxes that are to be shipped from the warehouse).
Time just blows away doing that so I kinda like it, even though it's just a temporary job (still in summer vacation).

Age 16, my sister talked me into working as a Telemarketer for 2 months. Worst effing job ever. That ended when I worked a 7am shift on a Saturday with a sinus headache, sitting in front of a wall clock, and on the messed up computer program that called the same person every 5-10 minutes for several hours. I'm happy to say I cracked a computer monitor before leaving.
