Poet/librarian/quiet scholar studying the construction and evolution of language like it's an addictive puzzle game.

"Dream Job" = oxymoron. The dream is not working. I envision trading commodities part-time while I travel and pursue my interests (art, writing, music, etc) but do not have the starting capital or any prospect of accumulating it, since I am not able to work in a menial capacity.

It's definitely not the job I'm doing now, which is an elementary music teacher. The management and discipline is too demanding for me and I'll be glad when the year is over in June.

But financially, I don't know what else to do.

A lawyer. Especially after the blood, sweat and tears involved in going through law school and passing the bar. Legal jobs have been hit hard lately.

I am posting again because I realize my true dream job is a housewife.

My dream job turned out to be a nightmare. Not the job... the sodding people. Right now, my dream job is copy editing anglo saxon texts online, and not having to go into an office!

In a perfect world where dreams come true, I would be able to act. I've always enjoyed doing impressions but just in the past year I discovered I really enjoy it more than I ever knew and began writing scenarios out on paper and acting them out on a video camera. I have created some characters but also use people in my everyday life who annoy me..like people I work with or go to school with or random people I meet that get on my nerves. I study their actions and mannerisms and write down common phrases they say and work them into the scenes I write. I know that sounds dumb, but it's a GREAT stress reliever for me and a good way to get everything off my mind. After much debate with myself, I decided to let a couple people watch one of the videos I made and they really liked it..or at least they claimed to, lol.

Ohh okay sorry..the reason I asked is because I saw that photo and did a double take..that photo looks almost exactly like a photo of my father when he was younger..same hair, body type and even similar facial features and stance in the photo, except my father is holding a guitar..okay I know this is dumb bc why would a random stranger have a photo of my dad? sorry lol
