I've got a job at a school supporting a child with Additional Needs in Reception (I'm in UK) 7.5 hours a week. That's all fine and dandy. The thing is, I have a pre-employment medical tomorrow (2nd August) and I am absolutely dreading it. There's nothing I want more than this job but what if this Doctor says I can't have it for one reason or other linked to my Asperger's. Help, has anyone else had one of these before?!

I would assume that its just a physical exam to make sure you're not an insurance risk. If the doctor is a General Practitioner chances are he knows less than nothing about Autism and wouldn't notice anything AS related unless you had a total screaming meltdown in his exam room. Maybe not even then.

Thought I'd update, thanks for the help.

It went fine, it was mainly to set up any support I may need, the job is mine :D
