I don't want to over elaborate but basically I need to have this interview over Skype, the person with whom I am supposed to have the interview did accept my request but has not replied to neither of my messages about when he would find it opportune to have the interview according to his schedule.

Should I interpret that to mean that he is not interested?, one of those messages I sent was while he was tagged as "on-line".

What do you think all of this mean? Should I just initiate a call whenever I might see him as "on-line" and if so how do I overcome my social anxiety I mean once I am "settled in" I can pretty much cope but if I have to start from zero previous interaction I know I will be very nervous, I need some previous less intimidating interaction for me to ease a little for something so direct as a phone-call, luckily the interview is not supposed to be a video-call.

Thank you very much

I would not irritate the guy by being too pushy. Sounds like he knows you're there. Don't stop there, and get your hopes up. Look for other things. A patient man never waits.

Thank you, I was starting to feel like I should have done something that only I didn't know I was supposed to do, but it seems like there isn't.

You are provably right but I don't think I came as too pushy, the two messages I sent him were with the span of a week.

I would wait too, but this reminds me of something I read about in a magazine recently. A woman had a Skype interview and her boss conducted it from her home. The bosses house was filthy and you could see it on the computer. I don't remember how it turned out, whether or not she took the job or what, but the article used that to point out that you should make sure that whatever area they can see is neat. and not just yourself.
