Our minimum wage is £4.85 for those over 21, though is going up to £5.05 in October. Far too low. Viva la revolution.

I make $13hr at my temp job as an employment service rep at a human resource outsourcing call center. Where I live, that's a high salary for a town that has mostly $6-$8hr jobs but the company was based up North where wages are higher and upon moving down here, they had to pay the employees here the same wages.

My TA job here at college is $6.25 an hour. More of a part-time job though, hardly pays the bills.

My summer internship paid 16$ an hour I believe. I had been ecstatic when I heard the figure

Not enough.

But really, minimum wage in my state is about $7.60/hour. I don't have a normal job because I work for the business my parents own. When I work I make minimum wage. Oh well, it's a nice amount of money to save in the bank.

Can someone really make at least 150bucks an hour?! lol

I make about $5.75 an hour. I'm a courtesy clerk at a Fry's grocery store. You know, bagging and stuff is what I do, and collecting carts from the parking lot.

At my old company some one was paid $9 000 000 a year ($4687.5 an hour), another person got $3 000 000 a year ($1562.5 an hour).

Architecture, but most people get paid no where near that. They were the first and second partners of the practice.

Oops. I did per year instead of per hour. So one of those 40-50's should be a 20. I make $20 an hour and with overtime comes to almost $50K a year. I'm a medical electronics technician. First job was for $8/hr in 1988. Low point was working for my dad at $6 (thanks dad :? ) or being unemployed for 6months, depending on your point of view. AS has probably hurt my career climb, but I'm paying the bills (most of the time), so it could be worse.

alex

So what does it matter what anybody makes in their life.

I have always had more money in the bank than most in my family has had in the bank.

What do You have in the BANK.

There isn't a poll entry for people who aren't employed. *sighs* Sometimes it seems like there is never a poll entry for people who aren't employed.

I make $0 an hour. I have been looking for a job for the last 2 years at least.

It is most certainly not a personal matter, too. That's a myth invented by the people who want you to keep your mouth shut about inequity. That way they can institute unfair and arbitrary hiring policies, and nobody will ever know, since it's a "personal matter."

At the same time don't brag about it. It's just information your workmates should know--very important to empowerment.

My office manager job is salary, more than 50K less than 60K. :)
Modeling and acting I average about 500 an hour or 2 grand a day for photo shoots, and about 1000 a day for acting.
