MannyAck,

Your situation now and experiences that led to this, I too have experienced -even before I found out I have an AS design code. (My preferred way of speaking about the Asperger /Autism spectrum).

Other posts here are right in total: it 's a combination of co workers/ managers/ boss who

* 'can't/don't want to relate to the differences THEY perceive in you'

* the blunt intolerance in the workplace which is a deliberately generated mechanism/s to "control workers " because some workplaces (many infact) don't want anything else to 'think ' about at work except their desired capitalist outcomes and achievements.

* and, many workplaces just don't care about how people working for them are relating to each other . They just don't care that employees are being made sick by working in an environment where bullying of any sorts is allowed.

* Mabye workers everywhere, for all time have been driven into nerve wrecked states of mind simply because the chief desire has been profit above gainful community employment as contribution back to the community.??! !

I hope my reply is understandable.
Too many big issues run through each rushed point above.
Tired I am.
I will replenish my self; will continue to live to my desires and to achieve as many as possible of them; AND will live with the community I belong to despite the efforts of some who wish to discard me because of my particular construction.

Do the RIGHT thing by yourself and others _ think and feel Well about youself WHatever!

Everyone, thank you for replying. I apologize for not getting back to you yet.

Situations took a turn for the worse after I confronted my colleague, and long story short I was forced to resign. They didn't fire me, ohhh no, the sneaky manipulative so and so's managed to wangle their way round that one...but they both made it so uncomfortable for me that I had no choice but to resign. I haven't yet sought legal help and would welcome any advice from you guys.

I'll respond more later.

Thanks again.

Act quickly. That's called "hostile work environment," and it's illegal. Since they knew of your disability, they are liable.
