Why not? The least you can do is try. Perhaps look for a forum for police officers and ask questions about it there.c]

I don't know a lot about criminal justice, but I don't see a reason that you couldn't be a police officer. I would go to your local station and see if one would let you job shadow him or at least let you talk to him about the job. Also, see if you could dual enroll in a criminal justice class while you're in high school. I highly doubt that I'm going into criminal justice, but I've taken an intro class and criminology. They are quite fun and the teacher should be able to answer questions like this one.

I hope so. There are already thousands of corrupt police out there. I'd much rather someone who has it in them to say, "Stop right there, criminal scum!" not be allowed to be a cop. Sorry. Stay away from positions of authority, and the world will be a slightly better place.
