Applied to 4 temp companies but failed the math tests and interviews. The one temp service that did take me gave me a test then put it in a black garbage bag without looking at it. I asked her when will I get the results she smiled and said we give the test only to say we test our applicants. The first place they sent me made antenna for battleships. We scrubbed big copper sheets with a diluted acid. My first day without safety training they gave me face shield, big rubber gloves, and the longest black rubber apron I ever seen and told me to pour a jug of corresive acid into a 5 gallon bucket while they stood across the room as I poured it. The temp agency got a call from me after I finished the pouring said the stuff I was going to using was no worst than windex. The boss who let me use his cellphone almost wet his pants when he heard that one. They would not let me quit and get another job I had to in their words get fired before they gave me another job. 
Every job they gave me was dangerous and low paying. The first clean well paying job they gave me did not want me at first but they had an exployee quit without warning so they snatched me up and I stayed there for 9 years. I will never use a temp agency again.
