MBTI: ESFP ... extroverted, sensory, feeling, perception

Blood Type: A+ ... aggressive, stressful, impatient

Handwriting: perfected because I know what people are looking for. It's friendly and consistent with the little notes that matter.

Accent: perfected because I know what people are looking for. It's a stable midwest with a touch of straight-talking chicago and a touch of sweet southern girl. I come by the elements of my accent honestly, but I have had to work on my voice anyway to make sure I don't go monotoned on people.

Astrological Sign: Taurus ... honest, lazy, stubborn

Height: a short 5'3" but no tall chick is going to win over a horny employer against my talking blue eyes.

I've never had a problem getting a job until just recently. My problem has been that there is always someone outrageously more qualified than me interviewing for the same position. It's been a little rough.

An employer can generally get away with discriminating based on blood type and zodiac sign, unless it can be shown as a cover for illegal discrimination.

Illegal discrimination would consist of discriminating against someone based upon race, national origin, religion, being over the age of 40, disability, and in retaliation against someone who had previously filed a charge of discrimination.

So, an employer would know enough not to admit to any of the forms of discrimination that are illegal.

But, if an employer sets a policy such as the height requirement, which effectively gets rid of more females than males, then that might present a possible legal challenge.

With regards to personality, I have a strong suspicion companies discriminate against introverts (and not just for sales jobs either).

... but I still can't get a job.

one time i had a friend from Texas come and visit me here in New York, and he said that I had a strong Bostonian accent! in NEW YORK! Top it off, im a virgo with childish sloppy handwriting, which may portray me as a whiny, childish employee, and they'd be right! I got fired from my first job because of my meltdowns, and am in the process of applying for disability retraining. But im still scared to return to the workplace because of the mistreatment i endured at my old job- my boss had me committed after one particularly strong meltdown. but i am strongly in disbelief that they can discriminate for this! I was planning to disclose the fact that i had AS and moderate depression at my next job interview, but now im scared that they'll discriminate based on that!
