I feel like that would end up involving some things I am not so comfortable with, so maybe not.

I'm surprised no one has suggested make crafts, or clothes*, or snacks and selling them from a market stall.

You can make money from doing this but you have to be careful that your raw material and overheads costs are low enough.

*don't actually make clothes but get cheap second-hand ones or plain t-shirts, and make them unique with fabric paints or dyes, studs, patches, etc.

Not a terrible idea........but I don't really know how to make crafts or clothes worthy of selling and don't even have a sewing machine, not to mention there would probably be a fee to sell it I would have to have transportation to transport these things. So it would not be too bad I just feel like I lack the skills though maybe I could learn and I don't think I could afford all the materials, fees or the reliable vehicle to transport the things I would try to sell.

But I will keep it in mind if I ever am in a better position to give it a try.......I think I might go more in the direction of hemp jewelry or something though, hell that might even be cheaper but yeah something to think about.

You can be a guide on Chacha: https://guideregistration.chacha.com/registration

Chacha works sort of like a human search engine. They pay per question.

i routinely pick up broken lcd screens for nothing or next to nothing and fix hem up if im able, some will be almost impossible to salvage and others only need a few capacitors changed, then i sell them locally.

i also fix peoples pc's outside the work i do managing IT, put up some tear away phone numbers and a a notice at the local supermarket.

i mostly do it to add to my savings account and have something to do when the office workload is low.

Well that would be cool if I knew how to fix that kinda stuff......but I'm better at cleaning, taking care of pets and not so technical stuff.

my one and only skill in this life, is restoring old audio recordings. nobody is interested. :hmph: it's mighty hard to attract money, unless you already have a bunch-

them's that got, shall get
them that's not, shall lose
that the bible says
and it still is news...
mama may have
and papa may have
but god bless the child
that's got his own.
"

anyways, (clicky!)mathew lesko has an interesting website which purports to tell his customers how to get "free" gov't money.

Ok so I looked at the cha cha thing and needing to feel out a W-9 tax form was brought up in the FAQ. That sort of thing typically confuses me but it's probably no big deal and I would probably have to do it anyways if I found other part time work....but yeah that stuff confuses and stresses me out because I don't quite understand it.

I looked into those online surveys a while back. They are a ripoff. They want your contact info, so they can try to get you to buy products from them. They set up the surveys to rope you in, and pay little or nothing, all while trying to sell stuff to you. Before you can qualify for their cash surveys, you have to try (buy) stuff, and it is stuff that can be purchased cheaper elsewhere. They have fake endorsements from fake winners, so don't waste your time with them.

I'm registered with surveysavvy, globaltestmarket, and ipos access panels, and I have never recieved anything else than survey forms from them. I do agree they pay little, and some companies that gets them to perform these surveys might use it as a way to get their name/product know by an audience that would be interested in buying it, but I have never gotten any requests to buy stuff before I can start making money.

Some might be ripoffs, but I wouldn't call them all ripoffs. Some are actually legit. Those I mentioned seems legit.
(disclaimer: I got bored, and never reached the minimum amount required for a payout, and I do not recieve any payment for promoting any of these businesses I just mentioned)
