I work for a company that is for people with disabilities so I am not sure if my boss knows all of our conditions we have. I never plan on telling him.

I am currently unemployed [no option for that on the poll].

Whether I disclose to a new employer will depend on what policies the employer has regarding disability and if any accommodations would be helpful (I have not needed any in the past).

If I do disclose it will either be before interview (some employers have policies to promote the employment of 'disabled' workers) as this may help me with the application. Otherwise I may disclose after becoming settled in the job if I feel comfortable.

Waiting to be diagnosed and haven't said anything. Not sure whether I will, yet.

I've never told my bosses, or any of my coworkers. I'm just the odd duck. :P I started working at my job at 16, so my supervisors saw my socially awkward behavior as a symptom of the teenager-disease. Five years later, I'm still learning new ways to "act normal."

I think I might be a bit of an open book, but it's hard to tell.

I went off work with what I thought was depression last year, which is how I came to realise I might be on the spectrum. I ended up seeing a psychiatrist who referred me to a counsellor and it was her who suggested from what I told her in our chats that I should look at the possibility. As a result of this, I spoke to our HR manager who I was having regular meetings with about it as I had since returned to work and am lucky to have a supporting place of work. I don't know for sure if she has passed it on the headteacher I work for but I have a feeling she might have done as some of the checks I used to have in the classroom (events that led to an increase in anxiety) have slowed considerably in the last year. I don't mind people at work knowing - I'm lucky I work in a school, I suppose, where Asperger's is a common topic so there isn't a fear of it.

Yes he knows and so does most of the bank i work at. My boss uses my strengths and works to minimize the effects of my weaknesses of AS. I was part of a lunch and Learn on Autism and Aspergers. I was one of the speakers. And it was broadcast to all locations of my bank.

And when I say the entire bank, I mean every branch in 5 states had the opportunity to hear the lunch and learn. It was also put on the intranet as a webinar. And his boss has a son who is on the spectrum.

Most neurotypicals think that employing someone with autism is rewarding them for being mentally ill.

My boss and all my coworkers at both of my jobs know!
I handed all of them a handout I found on the internet on working with Asperger's employees. Since one of my jobs is at a cat clinic, my co-worker's there are always comparing me with the cats

The guys at the car parts store where I also work are all from Latin American countries and are very accepting of my weirdness :)

No, none of my bosses have known. I suspect they had gathered that I had some sort of social issues, but might have just written it off as being shy/quirky. At least I hope.
