Aspie meltdown at work - Disciplinary measures instigated.
They violated the law when they denied you an advocate assuming you live in the US (judging by what you wrote, it sounds like you are). (Read the ADA thread just near here.) If they try to fire you for your meltdown, then you definitely have the law on your side. One thing you could do is mention to the HR people: "I really really don't want to get the ADA involved, but if I have to I will since my rights as a disabled worker were violated." That sounds like a rough situation and I think you're handling it the best you can. It may very well be the trainer's word against yours and since they didn't get your side, that definitely sounds like it. Maybe a nice, well polished, firm but respectful letter to the manager will explain your position and say you don't want to be a disruption and you want to please him/her well and hope you can move past this. Just say you don't recollect swearing and that you were overwhelmed because you were trying to answer a phone call, plain and simple. You might say next time that if it is too noisy, you will put the customer on a brief brief hold (if you can in your job, or if not, hit the mute button), ask your coworkers if they can quiet down so you can finish your phone call, and then finish it.
Just some thoughts.
