No. the word disabled was never mentioned. I had the talk before i had a formal assessment. As in the word deficits, my friend/colleague mentioned all the quirks and difficulties about me that she had noticed through the years. She told me after that she would rather me get weeded out at that point than have me get chosen for a job that was not good for me, as I had been through h**l the year before.

I myself do not feel disabled and would never talk about myself in those terms, though I sometimes use the word "weird" about myself.

I encourage honesty. Tactful honesty. I do not think the good things that happened this year could have happened in my last job. There was just too much stress and very little acceptance of any form of difference. Including physical disabilities due to repetitive work too!
