The problem is that ADP may be according to the English of American system. In the Netherlands we have Basis- and Praktijkdiploma Boekhouden. I have looked at a Youtube video about bookkeeping in English, and there aren't many major differences.

If you look at CompTIA A+, Network+ and Server+, these are international courses; they are the same in many countries. The certificate is valid in many countries as well. The exam may be in English, but the course itself is in Dutch or in the language of the country where that is given, AFAIK.

I just realized, it could also be the other way around. If I say that I follow a course and get a diploma or a certificate and tell it to my boss, it may be possible that he will apologize to me, for having underestimated me. He may give a regular job. Let's say, I get a CompTIA A+ certificate (which would qualify me as a computer technician) he may give a different job with a higher salary, who knows?

I truly hope this happens for you.

You deserve it--for trying your hardest despite your "disability."

The current salary is also already good. I may have better finances than others who may earn more than I do, but I have way less costs. The only one I have to worry about financially, is only myself, not my kids, nor my wife, whom I don't even have. If you subtract the costs of the income you will know how much money is left, monthly (or yearly). That is quite a lot, in my case. Financially, I can already do what I want.

If the boss is rid of the biased thoughts about me, that is already useful, even if my salary is not increased. Maybe true thoughts may be more valuable.

I agree with your sentiments.

You seem comfortable.

As long as your boss changes his/her mind about you, you're pretty much in Seventh Heaven.

I'm not that ambitious myself, actually.
