Also where would you get items to sell? If I wasn't involved with my niche 'business' I could afford to stop for things out on the curb more. Around my area people throw out a lot of vacuum cleaners, often just because they got clogged. I knew 1 tweeker who would unclog them or replace the belt, whatever it took to get them working. He would sell them for $30, just enough to get himself spun for a few days. Once he found a cheap drum kit in the dumpster, don't know how much he got for that though.

If I could stand to be around zillions of people I'd consider busking, as a way to make a special interest lucrative. In my area though it's a little saturated and I do what I can to avoid having cops waste my time as well as their own

If you have a favorite local band there's the probability of becoming one of their roadies or working the merch table. You start out getting to see a free show, a shirt and maybe something to eat. Then 1 day you're Executive Artist's Liaison

..... I'm not sure you'll like my suggestion......

Have you thought doing something in the sex industry 8O ? The rational is, if you are totally indifferent, maybe it wouldn't bother you doing that for money.

About being an espie in that industry. I strongly suspect sasha grey is aspie.

Don't take it the wrong way :)

I was thinking this but you need really high confidence in yourself and skill, I  Sasha Grey shes amazing i want someone like that in real life, How would you know shes a aspie? The sex industry is got a lot of competition and it's a cut throat buisness.

I can't think of much to make $$$ that's legal.

I find it insulting that prostitutes, or porn stars, or whatever Sasha Grey is, can make more money then people working to care for the elderly, disabled, or children.

I wouldn't do sex-work.

You have much more to offer then Sasha Grey (and I am not EVEN going to look her up).

You're so young. Once you get more life experience you will be able to see which paths are right for you.

I'd much rather get ssi than a job I hate. A job I hate wouldn't last anyways. I'd either get fired or quit.

Right now I'm supported by my mother and when she is gone if she can't leave me anything and I can't get ssi I'll be screwed because I can't work. I'll end up homeless and may as well off myself then.

Mmmm yeah makes sense to me.

They make their pay off people with more money. It's easy to have extra disposable income when you don't have kids or many obligations. Compare that to the amount of money most elderly, disabled, or children (well, their parents) have.

It might surprise you that pornstars make very little money these days and have to exhaust themselves to get it, women now having to do more extreme and humiliating things including stuff they didn't sign up for but feel obliged to due to 2 control elements - contracts and pay.

Then there's prostitutes. Many are not self employed so to speak but have been abducted, tricked into the trade, are held to ransom and worse by pimps and gangs from very young ages up to middle age. They don't see much of their money, and a lot don't see any of it.

I really would reconsider being bitter about income made by either one of these adult professions.

Something to think about. I do wonder how much money gets spent by society on one thing relative to the other, though. What the employees receive is really neither here nor there in terms of how much social priority is given to each activity, because that doesn't necessarily match what's being spent. I don't know the figures, though. But I would not be too surprised if more was spent on porn and prostitution than caring for the elderly, disabled, and children.

I couldn't do sex work. I don't like getting my picture taken or getting videotaped even fully clothed, never mind while naked and doing sex things.

I couldn't be a prostitute because I have to much social anxiety to find and pick up customers. I also hate piv sex and will never do it again. I actually did that once and it wasn't that big a deal but it was a long time ago and I wouldn't do it again.

I can't do phone sex because I don't like to talk on the phone to strangers.

I can't be a stripper because I don't dance or want to get naked.

What do you mean by piv sex? Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (PIV)?

There is probably much more money to spend on porn or sex compared to the other 3 listed. Many more people have a sex drive compared to those with a) elderly needing support (I'm down to 1 parent), b) children (how much of the population is childless), or c) disabled (my extended family has a total of 2 members that are considered disabled, but none in my immediate family. If you don't have those expenses, you have much more disposable income. I don't think that I am unique in my situation in this respect.

No porn for me I don't think......I don't even like sex so I certainly would not want to do it as a career. Yes I am rejecting that suggestion

Well yeah the issue with selling things is, I don't really know how I would go about getting things to sell.....I mean even if I did find cool things people were throwing away I don't know how I would transport them to somewhere to sell it. Also I don't really know any local bands but that would be a cool idea.

Well maybe, I wouldn't do sex work probably........but I don't think I am really functional enough to work caring for elderly, disabled or children I mean I can barely seem to effectively take care of myself its a struggle just to eat or shower enough.
