I currently work in fast food. Bit of a nightmare, really, but it's the only job that I have access to at this time. I always get stuck having to deal with complete idiots.

do u spit in the burgers?

No, I don't. I just hate some of the people I have to work with. Lazy, arrogant jerks. They don't know I'm an Aspie, so they don't understand why certain things bother me (the nasty smell of pot from the stoners that come through the drive-thru is the worst). One of them though it would be funny to sneak up on me yesterday and say hi really loudly :x

I am a professional engineer in a large communications company

There is a lot of interaction between staff, customers and suppliers.

The most difficult thing over the years has been dealing with Management who (for all the right reasons) expect reports and presentations in groups and one on one. The one on one sessions are my most agonising moments.

I have learnt coping skills to get through my professional life though it always feels like I work from within a glass dome.

But overall it has been something I truly love doing and feel blessed. The technical challenges and achievements more than make up for those other difficulties in coping with the people around me. Fortunately, they are all professionals, treating others in a respectful, considerate and courteous manner. A great majority do not get into insensitive and damaging behaviours like from those whom I have experienced in factories whilst working during my holidays during the University years.

I'm a computer JOAT and Security Engineer for a company that staffs, manages and runs Emergency Rooms.

Help Desk, Network Design, Network Engineering, Forensics, firewalls, etc... you name it... it falls under my guidance. I don't do datawarehousing or vertical apps but everything else is mine.

I'm the Lead Integrated Master Scheduling on the A-10 Warthog Wing Replacement Program for one of the biggest Aerospace/defense contractors in the world. I develop Integrated Master Plans/Schedules. See the link below to found out what an IMP/IMS is.

I color match automotive paint for body shops. Small independent place that supplies most body shops with paint in our county. It's nice work but I'm thinking of working as a MB mechanic until I finish college.

I am looking for a job currently. I've learned that it is not fun looking for jobs. I also saw some "career information" on a university site claiming that people with my education "average $50,000 a year". LOL, evidently not where I live.

Second bachelors degree student in Interior Architecture.
Thinking about dropping out of college, I just found out that I'm an aspie
I've never really fitted in, there's a lot of social interaction expected and this gives me
lots of anxiety.
I've had very few jobs in the past and worked for a short time.
the last one was as an art framer. I also worked at a photo lab, a photoshop artist, information assistant at a museum, and some other odd jobs.

corporate Customer Service Representative for a convenience store / gas service station chain. I also take calls from stores for maintenance and technical issues, trouble shoot if possible, then forward to appropriate technicians and service vendors. Follow up on said work orders, continually corresponding with service vendors until the issue is completed. Per my companies business jargon we are to consider the stores our customers as well, so we just call ourselves Customer Service. I take calls by telephone as well as email.
