I am looking for people's experiences in their jobs after graduating from university. I am in my third year studying genetics. Normally my yearly average is about 80% but starting this year I have lost my motivation to work. I am highly concerned about my career after university as I am rather antisocial and I have never bothered with friends. I also become bored easily. I have fitted in the shell of university for 5 years after dropping out twice due to sensory overload. As it took me so long to adjust to university, I have started to feel that I will not cope with any job or find somebody who wants to employ somebody like me. I am now finding it difficult to see the purpose of my degree with the next "stage" being so murky.

Thank you for replies.
Marie

Experiences can vary and lots of people end up doing something completely different. Even within the profession there are huge variations on job duties and salaries, so do not worry about that now.
