Beginning training for U.S. Census job next week.

Sometimes I can be pretty good at seeing and anticipating what a main issue might be. During the phone interview for the census job as enumerator, one of the formal questions was, ' . . . willing to work in evenings and on weekends, all types of weather, and all types of neighborhoods?'

'Yes.' But I am not a fool.

I'm not planning to speak up, a little more artful than that. I am planning to back someone else up if they speak up.

'Yeah, that is a valid concern. These kind of situations, a person should always trust their gut . . . '

'Let's go in pairs. Occasionally, when it doesn't feel right, let's go in pairs'

Be careful out there. Most people are just rude. A few are dangerous.
