For the first time in a good while, I'm leaving a job by choice. Not to say I wouldn't have been forced out eventually. It's always the same things, I begin to feel like I'm expected to be a mind reader, but more likely is that I cannot read intonation, facial expressions and other nonverbal communication. I'm accused of "talking back" and "attempting sabotage" when really I'm just trying to do what I think is expected of me and to remain employed.
Luckily I have another job coming up and I'm thinking about disclosing AS to my future employer based on what seems like good advice. I'm pretty nervous about it and wonder what sort of reactions I should expect from bosses and coworkers.
Does anyone have any suggestions regarding this issue and any good/bad experiences with disclosing to employers?
