At least in our experience, our sons have spectacular memories.

What jobs do you think would utilize fantastic memory ability?

An autistic guy I know won an incredible amount of money in the 80's in a television qiuz, knowing EVERYTHING about movies. I think he can live on that.

I hate to point this out, but having a good memory in itself is unlikely to get anyone a job. You need more than one skill. Mind, it can help with certain things, but a computer these days makes up for a lousy memory for the most part...

yeah, I know that a computer often makes up for a lack of memory . . .

There are some situations, though, where you AREN'T using a computer, and you're in high-stress situation at work, and a person who concentrates on the details rather than the whole picture might come in handy.

Why not in medicine? Anatomy takes a HUGE amount of memory. Mines not so great, so I won't be pursuing the topic after this. But, any of the sciences requires a lot of memory.

I'm going to be a veternarian. I think my enclopediac knowledge of zoology and such will come in handy. I remember EVERYTHING I find relevant.
