I hate it when my employer pigeonholes me into doing certain tasks due to my job description. I see others in the office that I work in doing tasks that seem more interesting, or in the very least something that only certain people are trained to do. I often feel like, well I am bright enough to do this, why isn't the company letting me do so? I find this to be rather condescending.

Do folks with AS have a problem with job descriptions and doing "your job"? Or would you like to do a variety of things, just because you have the ability to do so?

Yeah I know the feeling and I'm guilty of doing it to others. Doing the tasks only makes you look better.

I was under the impression that the majority of people officially diagnosed with AS are chronically unemployed and would most likely be lucky to get a job in the first place, never mind coveting other people's roles.
