http://sacar-trust.org/

Sacar Trust based in Bradford draws in people from the Aspergers and Autism community with promises of long term employment. However the catch is you have to get funding to get help from this organisation. This is despite Sacar been a charity dedicated to support people with Asperger Syndrome and Autism. I though the whole point of charities were to help people in need and not exploit them for financial gain.

My question for them is name your price for long term employment because you seem to be the experts when it comes to selling jobs which in effect you are doing.

Depends on how much is a "nominal" contribution. It's known that people value more those things that cost something. And it does say people should check with whoever it is that doles out their money, to see about help with that. It might be dodgy, but it looks more like shoestring funding from here.

I'm guessing that they expect people like the job centre to provide funding not the individuals themselves. This is common with other types of charity suh as drug rehab centres. Charities just have to be "non profit" this means that they are alowed to make people ppayfor things aslong as they are not gaining any money. I guess they ask for funding because finding work for people costs money. Nothing Illegal here . It's just not particulary fair on those of us who can't pay
