How can I better structure my at home job?
Does anyone else have this problem? I am very fortunate to have a job that is quite flexible and allows me to work from home (except when I have to go out to do trainings or have a meeting.) The problem is that I really miss the structure of getting up at a certain time, being at an office during certain hours and and all the other supports that structure provides. I tell myself I can just make a schedule but it doesn't work. When I did work in a cubicle, I loved closing myself off from everyone else and just concentrating on my work. Now that I have no colleagues around, I miss just being able to say Hi to people or share what I am doing. I need a middle ground and don't know where to find it or how to create it. With my current job, there is no option to go into the office, because there is no office. I find myself getting depressed at home, all alone.
Thanks for any ideas you have,
Kanj
