Hey guys, I need some advice and some exciting news. Firstly, I am going back to school to receive a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a special focus in Accounting and Finance. Now, I need to know, will this improve my chances of getting a better job, and what steps can I take to increase my chances of landing a better job after graduation so I don't get stuck in the same old catch-22 of having no job experience and being unable to obtain it in the first place, because, working at Market basket ain't gonna cut it if I want to live independently. Any suggestions?

It can help but you are going to need more than just a degree. You are going to have to get some experience in the field which means an internship is highly recommended.

Er, it helps to make connections with your professors, or try to get a mentor if your school offers a mentor program. Usually through career services or something. That's the way it happens at UB. I mean, if you can really link with your professor, perhaps they can help guide you or recommend something to you. I don't know if it's this way in business, but in Anthropology, you could actually do and internship with your professor as class credit. Gratz on getting back to school!
