Sorry, I just need to get this out of my system. I work for the Walmart home office. It's been two or three years since I've been able to spend Thanksgiving with my family. Since it's a holiday, they don't let people ask for that day off. This year, I was lucky enough for Thanksgiving to fall on my day off (our schedules change every week).

You want to know how to piss your employees off? Tell them they don't have to work on the holiday-- and then change your mind.

They don't even have the decency to give us holiday pay here.
