Started volunteering at a place which recycles furniture

Very happy about this For a start it keeps me more occupied than I normally am. Helps keep my sleeping pattern more normal.

The two most important things though, the furniture gets sold onto people who are not that well off for a low price and it helps slow down the need to needlessly consume resources for new things.

Other things included are carpet recycling, free baby clothes, foot parcels for the poor and homeless and soon, a big household recycling project.

Does anybody have similar services where they stay? If so, what? And if so, to make use of them?
