No I am not talking about the hosting site I have, as that is at my cost plus a little to cover free ones. I have tried to find ways to make money online for 3 years. Have worked on websites all day, hundreds of hours spent with no luck.

The thing is though I dont expect to make any money definitly, it provides a strict narrow interests that I spent "locked" into mental states focusing. Its usually fairly non-productive and does not work, it keeps my mind busy or did..

I am not sure what to do, so much wasted time as well as money. I have tried everything on my own that I can think of.

It's not really a failure to me, as I never affirmed in my mind that any of the ideas like now would actually come to be. I just work on them and try.

Is anyone making money online, that knows what to do while working with the search engines? I understand search engines.

P.S: Concerning the hosting site, I am not going to do any hosting accounts but the free ones. It is not able to be competive, was to present an idea I had but I don't like it. Do not know how to do technical support for it. I might give away the business model and domain to a non-profit for fundraising, but I dont think any of them would want it.

When in doubt: porn. Porn sells big time on the web. I've heard of people pulling in 7 large a month making porn sites. I wish I had a different idea, but I really don't: most other ventures except the really big corporations work at a loss. C.R. the 90's.

Porn, Ebay, um... porn.... I kind of think most "opportunities" online I see are pyramid schemes. I know people who make money on ebay though doing things like reselling stuff, and I know of a group of people who own about 9 sites together and they make about 50-60 grand a month each. (they are fetish and porn websites which apparently are quite lucrative) but you'd need an office, photographic equipment, studio space, props, ect. I imagine the start up on that would be extremely high, and you'd be a smut peddler. (Some people are cool with that though.)

MLM I distain, I've never fallen for it.

A merchant service company I was working with, their reseller structure turned MLM like and I just lost interest in it entirely.

My mind is not a programmers mind, though I remember the IF statements in a class. I would be good at working with programmers to manage ideas and development.

Maybe you should stop trying to make money off the internet, and go get a job. This sounds pretty logical to me.

I'm in entry in two vocational programs now. I don't think it will make much of a difference, I spent a year in one before.

This may be your best bet if the other isn't working.

Disability is disability, I just got back from one job program today. The regional center appears as if I will qualify for. They just re-diagnosed me with A.S.D, not sure which one though.

I just want to try to get out to do normal things, such as a group activity. Even though I'm not much for the social things, I have to try.

good luck with your enterprise..

Im in a similiar situation I guess, I have a host which I have control of although no chargeable services on offer, I've been working on some websites with the hopes that eventually one could make money but I'm not sure how to do it either.

Ive actually got the coders mind but Im proving horrible at producing graphics, i never really could draw so Ive never felt artistic. Just recently I built a forum based around my interest which is a growing field so Im hoping that a few well placed (neat) google ads will spin some coins... If it works out Ill try remember to post about it

you have to step outside the box. make something that people want. like myspace. it's been done before but they did it in a way that, to be honest, gives teenagers a school after school without the work, just the gossip and drama. that tom dude hit the jackpot. ive been building websites for like 6 years... its so competitive that i dont even mess with it. all in all, i believe the best way is to learn how to program, design, and know everything that is needed to build a website. after that its all about ideas. what do they want? what will make them keep coming back because they are so obssessed with it? p0rn sites and like i said myspace are perfect examples. myspace is like a popularity contest and kids dont have to wait til tommorow morning for another gossip session.

Mostly impractical, I am not a developer, just I understand some things to create illusions on the screen.

My best possibility is the music, if I was to practice another year and work with other instruments for highly specific target groups such as meditation it might work out.

My morals forbid me of any endeavor in the adult industry, it would be like selling my soul (not literally) and beyond simple acts of temptation.

I think the best advice given might just be to try to get a normal job working for somebody in the offline world.

That being said, the quest to make money online is essentially the quest to run a successful online business. And this is essentially the quest to run a successful business, period. The rules are not much different online versus offline. In my opinion, there are limitless business possibilities in both the online and offline world, even for people with little money to start up. Anybody can take a crap job, live below his/her means, and save up a few thousand over time to get going.

The thing is, though, that anybody with a profitable business idea, and there are MANY, is not going to tell you about it. They're going to do it themselves. In fact, they will go to great lengths to keep their goldmine a secret. So you will have to look for ideas yourself and read between the lines of what's out there to see what's good for you.

Let me tell you about how I made $15,000ish online a few years ago in college. At that time, and to this day I assume, online casinos offered ridiculous sign up bonuses to get you to try them out. However, a little smart play and understanding of probabilities let you cash out the majority of the bonus and never come back. You could repeat this simple idea at the dozens and hundreds of online casinos and make a decent amount, just as I did. At the time I was doing this, I was extremely paranoid of too many people figuring out this profitable secret and killing the promotions, and the last person I would tell is somebody asking about how to make money online. I found it myself.

Good luck, there's opportunity out there. And most of it is legitimate, honorable businesses; no need to do porn or even the stress of online casino bonus hunting. :D
