I have to attend office where we are seated for hours together in a room since the exams and academic year is over and we teachers practice our sessions etc in one room together
i dont have any friends as such in my office and there is old lady with whom no one else sits.
but i have to sit next to her out of compulsion rather then by choice
she keeps on cribbing, cribbing about everything
mostly her conversations are negative full of venom for the management, supervisors, staff and other colleagues

the management has not given her a continuation letter for next academic year that means she can continue but they will keep her hanging
to make her a permanent employee
now she keeps on cribbing more and more

what do i do..............as i said earlier i dont have any other company
if anyone explains anything to her she gets more angry
i have given her some information about vacancies but instead of going out and searching
she is sitting and grumbling which is even more irritating.

she opens tells negative things when the supervisor and seniors are around
and she has been caught and reprimanded several times for those actions.........but alas no improvement
i am kind of loosing my sanity there...........i dont understand why others are avoiding me....maybe because i am too quite
too shy etc................
but being with her they will feel that i am just like her which is not true.

sitting by myself is even more scary
