Yeah so Craigslist is the bloody f'ing valley of "can't do" jobs. I either don't have the experience or have the experience but have other things blocking my eligibility for these jobs like the fact that I commute by transit(and not by choice), for one very large example. I have no education, just three failed attempts at college. I hate being on welfare but it's almost like I have absolutely no choice in the matter. What the hell am I supposed to do, apply at a place like Tim Horton's where piss ant customers like me(and yes I'm not too good to admit that I do this) will b***h behind my back about how I screwed their order up instead of having the balls to take two seconds to turn around and come back in to point out the mistake has been made? Or a place like Wal*Mart where your supervisor(s) can treat you horrendously unequally, even when Wal*Mart claims to be an "equal opportunity" employer, and get away with it because who's word will the manager take yours(the expendable dime a dozen associate) or the supervisor's(who has been there long enough to attain that title)? I guess I should just get used to only having $X/month that will only increase fractionally whenever the cost of living happens to go up and accept that I'll live with my mother either until she dies or goes into a home because of her MS and I become the ward of one of my older siblings and his/her spouse/significant other.

Craigslist has been my primary job search tool and it's true that pretty much everything in the "Jobs" section requires a experience, a degree, or at least a sociable demeanor. I look in the "Community" section for childcare and pet jobs and other misc. opportunities and in the gigs section, which obviously has short-term work but a lot of it is posted by people who'll take pretty much anybody to do their odd jobs like raking leaves, just whoever calls first or has the lowest price. I got a promising e-mail back (well actually 2 e-mails, but the first went to my spam folder) about a position caring for a boy with autism that I found in the Community section searching for "autism" cause I'm interested in working with kids on the spectrum and at least have some babysitting experience. What DO you want to do, and is it anything that might be in the community or gigs sections of Craigslist? I also found a dogsitting job in the community section. That's a good section for people with no degree and little job experience!
