I got up on Sunday morning at about 10 AM. I had a date that afternoon in Massachusetts, about sixty miles away. I left my house and got to the destination about 2. My car started leaking antifreeze right as I was pulling in and I decided rather than take the risk of it overheating I wouldn't drive it. I waited for and went on the date which wrapped up around 8. I called AAA and had them tow me back to Connecticut, where I borrowed my dad's car and rushed back up to the Boston area (Everett, MA to be specific) because I had to be at work catering on the new Kevin James movie at 3 AM on Monday. I arrived to work right on time and worked a fourteen-hour day, then went back home to Connecticut. I went to bed just after midnight. (And still needed an Ambien to calm down.)
It was a chaotic and long day but I got to go on my date and I got to be on a movie set.
Yes us Aspies are very good at getting what we want, and we certainly do things a little differently!
