I have always had trouble finding a job.
Now with Elance.com, I always have customers. I worked as a programmer for them. Only problem is, Elance.com jobs come with a price: barrel prices. Meaning, I must charge customers $300 for a job that normally costs $2000 or $3000 in the US. Since I am in Panama, that's not so bad, but it is not good either, given the fact that life here is only 1/3 of how expensive it is to live in the US. Think of it like this, I am charging $1000 for a job that costs $3000.
I have only encountered one customer with an attitude problem. And another one who barely communicates with me. I have never been diagnosed with Aspergers, but I like to work alone, and people get on my nerves. If you can program, or design logos, perhaps websites like Elance.com, Scriptlance.com, Odesk.com are good for you.
