I applied for SSI but got denied, not sure if I even want to try and appeal or not. but anyways its just kind of stressful because I smoke cannabis to help with my depression, PTSD, Anxiety and some aspergers releted things...so I don't know what jobs are least likely to test for that...and if I quit I won't be able to function well enough to have a job. I am sure some here will disagree with my choice but nothing else really helps. So yeah i guess Im just venting a little because im a bit angry about being denied. I mean I specifically said I had trouble following directions because usually I forget half of them and then end up having to ask, my short term memory kind of sucks so that is a fairly common issue I have at jobs. and then in the denial letter they said according to the evidence I could follow instructions well enough for a job even though I said that is one of the main things I have trouble with. So yeah its a bit frusterating, not to mention the whole drug testing thing makes me a bit paranoid......I mean for one I dont like the idea of my personal life being invaded and I do smoke a bit of weed so that could be an issue even though I dont think I could hold a job if i quit.

They will tell you at the interview if there is a drug test, and if there is you simply finish up the interview and thank them for their time and never come back. Consider it a practice run for a real job that won't invade your privacy with pee tests. You won't know which ones test for sure unless they have something about being a "drug-free workplace" in their want ad.

True If I do go to a job interveiw or whatever and they say that is required I could just say I changed my mind and don't think its the job for me...also Im in colorado so its possible I could get a medical licence but even that does not always work with jobs......I was just stressing about it because I did not think I was going to get denied for SSI..but that is life I guess.
